Line Dancing is very popular here in america and in every party that i attended to, they would ask me to lead. I am so happy that some nurses that i have known for the last few years are starting to like the idea that hiring a dance instructor is not a bad idea at all, see some of the photos and how they are doing so far right now:

It was a romantic and fabulous August 30, 2008 wedding that united Vico Reyes and Cookie Borres in a solemn union sealed at the historic Immaculate Conception Church of Picturesque Baclayon in Bohol with a spectacular wedding reception at the splendid and majestic Verdant Pavilion of Panglao Island Nature Resort and Spa.

]]> http://mikeygatal.com/blog/2010/07/24/cookie-and-vico-reyes-wedding/feed/ 0 Beyonce almost got killed http://mikeygatal.com/blog/2010/07/23/beyonce-almost-got-killed/ http://mikeygatal.com/blog/2010/07/23/beyonce-almost-got-killed/#comments Fri, 23 Jul 2010 19:27:00 +0000 Got Mikey http://mikeygatal.com/blog/?p=681 last night,bought dinner and tagged her along.  i decided to leave Beyonce and untied her leash so she won’t have any problems inside the car, it was past 9 oclock in the evening anyway, the weather was kind of chilly then i left her. but then again, i have to come back and get my sweater. so, when i opened the door, she just took off and went straight to the main street along Wilshire Blvd. where El Pollo Loco restaurant (her favorite chicken to eat) was situated.  i have to run to the street and tried to catch her and i realized, i have to stopped running after her for there were a lot of cars approaching both ways. luckily though, everyone stopped and for they saw Beyonce in the middle of the street  and also saw me as shocked as i was covering my face like in the movie Home Alone with Macaullay Caulkin’s famous face expression.  she caused a traffic commotion for a minute and  she just went back to me , embraced me as if nothing happened and i said thank God she’s ok for she’s my baby, a cute little Maltese Mix Yorkie dog named  Beyonce.

The summer before I went to law school, I decided to travel down to Mexico to do some volunteer work at a shelter for women. One day, while checking my email in a computer cafe, a handsome stranger sat down next to me. After watching me for a few moments, he told me he had never seen anyone type so fast in his entire life! He was traveling through the country and was scheduled to head back to Norway in 3 days. He ended up staying 3 weeks longer in order to spend time with me.

Nils first proposed marriage at my graduation ceremony in 2006, and he has proposed every year since then. After 7 years of traveling across oceans and continents to build our relationship, we are finally ready to be known as husband and wife. It certainly wasn’t easy, but we made it work. Whether I was on a project on an island in Indonesia or in the mountains of Tibet, Nils always found me.

With busy personal lives, jobs that sent us to faraway lands, and critics doubting us along the way, we could have just given up. But we knew this love was bigger than all of that….

Thank you for joining us today in celebrating a marriage that truly exemplifies the power of love.

William and Gretchen look so happy and in love. Love is one of the greatest blessings the Lord has given the world. They were extremely happy, she’s never looked so beautiful and there are no words that can even begin to express how beautiful ( and cute) the wedding pictures are… This will be a new and exciting chapter in their lives and a new road that will bring them much happiness and love. So thrilled and happy for the newlyweds.

During the wedding, they have had so many snapshot memories that were perfect and shared. The smiles of love from all their close family, seeing Gretchen kissing her new husband for the first time, walking down the aisle hand in hand.

William was kind of emotional that night, looking back and remembering all the details of what he had been through and I felt a warmth in my heart as I praise the Lord for His blessings for this young couple. for more photos, please click link below :
